Lady of the Manor

This week I went to Wollaton Park, a tourist spot for those who want to visit Wollaton Hall, which is also  home to Batman (filmed in The Dark Knight Rises). It's a shame that Bruce Wayne wasn't there to whisk me away, but the grand manor itself is quite beautiful, and much less gloomy than it is in the film!

Holiday Shop

I've already packed for my holiday to Morocco on Tuesday and I cannot WAIT to get going! I haven't been abroad too often hence my over-excitement. Here are some of the items I'm taking with me, I've gone for bright colours, florals and bold prints:

Swimsuit: Hot Mess, Hat & Floral Headband: Primark, Bikini: Asos, Shirt: H&M

Although I'm sharing a suitcase, I have a feeling that I'll be taking up most of the space ;). I always pack more than necessary, just in case... Looking forward to posting my holiday photos for you soon!

Standing among the many colouful boats at Nottingham's canal inspired this nautical themed post, and did make me consider what it would be like to just take off and drift along the water - tempting... This was definitely a calming break from my end-of-degree stress!

I'm very excited to be going on holiday to Morocco next week, and there's quite a few things I'd love to take with me (if I have the space!). But here are some of the things on my May wishlist, I'm mainly looking into accessories at the moment just to update my current outfits for more summery looks, seeing as I'm in the holiday mood!

My First Post!

So, I thought that my first blog post should represent my style as well as a bit about what I like doing, which is mainly eating. For my friend's birthday, I had the delight of going to what is fast becoming known as Nottingham's number one destination for foodies - Annie's Burger Shack. It's a classic American style restaurant with equally American-sized portions (seriously huge!), taking on a vintage vibe with burgers such as 'The Elvis' and 'The Broadway'. I would definitely recommend you treating yourself to one of these if you're ever around the area! I'm sorry about the poor quality photos, I am aiming to get more close-ups and detailed pictures for you, but I hope you enjoy this first post :).
